The offshore wind industry is operating in an increasingly complex OT and cyber security landscape. Regulatory obligations are growing, scrutiny from financiers and insurers is intensifying, and the consequences of getting it wrong are significant. Yet genuine specialist expertise in this space, people who understand both the technology and the sector, remains hard to find.
ODiGE was founded to change that. Not a generalist consultancy. Not an IT firm applying theory to an environment it doesn't fully understand. A specialist advisory practice, built from the inside of the offshore wind industry, delivering practical, proportionate, and defensible OT and cyber security strategy.
Biography
Carl Ketteringham brings two decades of operational technology, SCADA, and cybersecurity experience in the offshore energy sector, with direct project delivery on some of the world's most technically complex offshore wind developments.
His advisory is grounded in what actually happens between contract award and first power: the architecture decisions that matter, and the ones that cost projects most when they go wrong. Carl has led OT and cybersecurity strategy on projects spanning fixed-bottom and floating wind, across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks, from UK NIS and the Cyber Assessment Framework through to IEC 62443 and EU NIS2.
As Principal and Project Lead at ODiGE, Carl provides overall technical and strategic direction, ensuring every engagement is built on real offshore wind project experience, not framework theory applied from the outside.
